Golden Bay Machinery and Settlers' Museum |
This is appropriately sited in the old Collingwood Cheese Factory at Rockville and features a fascinating display of early tractors, farm machinery and implements, plus many exhibits in common household use a century ago. The Stationary Engine room is of particular note with engines in all stages of restoration, and some working exhibits. A winch from the Anthill Goldmine and a Tangye engine from the Puponga bush are part of a working steam section which has been added to the museum.
